Sepsis in the child is an important health problem and it is considered the main cause of death at this age in the world. It also consumes a great deal of health resources. A review of the topic of septic shock in pediatrics and of the possibilities of therapeutic treatment at present was made due to the importance of the diagnosis and early treatment to reduce the mortality from sepsis in childhood.
