The characteristics inherent to pregnant adolescents are widely analyzed and emphasis is made on the risks of pregnancy at this stage of life. Maternal and perinatal morbidity is divided according to the time of appearance and some of the aspects connected with them are discussed. It is concluded that only through a policy oriented towards the sexual and sanitary education of the new generations it will be possible to improve in the future the indicators related to pregnancy incidence at this stage of life and the perinatal results.
