GUERRA VERDECIA, Carlos Luis et al. Hellp syndrome. A case report and summary of the entity. Rev Cubana Obstet Ginecol [online]. 2002, vol.28, n.1, pp.49-53. ISSN 0138-600X.
The clinical presentation of a severe form of pregnancy toxemia is studied in a 39-year-old pregnant woman with 36 weeks of gestation. It is known as syndrome of HELLP, in which together with the known symptomatology of preeclampsia, hemolysis, elevated liver tests and thrombocytopenia are also found. After receiving the treatment used nowadays for these cases at the national and international level during the 65 days of hospitalization, the patient’s evolution was satisfactory.
