Resumen

Authors made a bibliographic review on glaucoma in pregnancy to describe the management of these two variables. Physiopathologic elements are pointed out allowing a better diagnosis and treatment of these patients during a vital stage of their life, leading to a better control of disease during pregnancy, avoiding the progression of irreversible visual alterations related to glaucoma, taking into account the risk-benefit balance that therapeutics may offer for the mother and for her future baby.
