Abstract

FALCON LINCHETA, Leopoldina et al. Solución para la epidermofitosis de los pies en integrantes de las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias. Rev Cub Med Mil [online]. 2000, vol.29, n.2, pp.98-102. ISSN 0138-6557.

The main objective of the present paper on the use of ozonized sunflower oil (oleozon) in the treatment of epidemophytosis was to generalize therapy with oleozon in military having such affection, who coming from outpatient service, health management medical exam service, medical commissions and inpatient service, had been seen in "Dr Carlos J. Finlay" Military Hospsital during 1998. Two hundred and fifty seven patients were treated of which 227 healed (88.3%). The most effective response to treatment was found in scaled and macerated clinical forms. No adverse effect was recorded. The introduction specifies the characteristics of oleozon, its economic and social advantages.
