Resumen

16 patients who were diagnosed type III and IV carpus instability underwent triscaphoid arthrodesis. The average age was 37. 11 patients were males and 5 females. The pain released in all cases and it totally disappeared in 43.7 %. The range of postoperative joint mobility did not affect the habitual function of the patients. The strength of the pressure of the hand improved in 15 cases, with an average of 4.5 %. The consolidation of arthrodesis was completely attained in 14 patients. 87.5 % of the results were good. It is concluded that the triscaphoid arthrodesis by minimally invasive surgical procedures allow to obtain satisfactory results, eliminate the risks of open surgery, less material resources are needed and it is a good treatment option for patients and doctors.
