An updated literature review was made in which the most used drugs in emergency and intensive care services were selected to provide a quicker and sager tool in the face of arithmetic calculations which are commonly imposed to reach adequate rhythm and dosage. Twelve drugs are listed, they are alphabetically organized by generic and commercial names so as to find them easily. These drugs are adrenaline, aminophyline, diazepam, dobutamine, dopamine, phenytoin, lidocaine, metylprednisolone, nitroglycerine, nitroprusside, salbutamol and timetaphan.
