An observational descriptive study was conducted in 18 subjects aged 25-50. 14 of them were males with diagnosis of non-alcoholic fatty liver. A clinical-humoral profile was made in such cases and it was proved that the disease is little symptomatic from the clinical point of view, that there is a relation between the severity of the liver damage and that of liver cystolisis and that it has a range of pathological modalities of different prognosis. It was confirmed the usefulness of ultrasonography and laparoscopy in its diagnosis, as well as of the liver biopsy as a gold standard for evaluating the lesion degree.
