Normotensive hydrocephalus is a clinical syndrome, characterized by the progressive development of walking abnormalities, intellectual deterioration and urinary incontinence. It is mostly diagnosed in patients over 60 years of age. Ventricular dilation with no major brain atrophy is seen in cerebral images. It occurs as a late complication of intra-cerebral infection, subarachnoid hemorrhage and cranial trauma. A 69-year-old white female patient with a history of arterial hypertension for the past 6 years presented balance disorders that have led to falls resulting in fractures of hip, clavicle, humerus and facial contusions. In last years the disorder of the balance worsened and made her impossible to perform the daily life tasks, her march got slow, associated to a disorder of speech, that made difficult the verbal communication at her examination, later, she presented difficulty to remember recent facts, as well as urge urinary incontinence.
