The work provides an reflective overview on the main features characterizing the economic and socio-classism structure in Cuba, a matter of the outmost importance for the projection and the implementation of policies linked to the updating of the socialist construction model. Beign social economic heterogeinity a main feature of current Cuban context, the building of producers-owners identity and the consolidation of national unity turnlikewise into highly complex processes. The work discusses the way in which different economic -socialist, state capitalist, capitalist, and small simple commercial production- models may efficiently operate, with the creative participation and ethical behavior of different social entities that make up the present Cuban people -workers, farmers, private workers, burgois elements, intellectuals, leaders, the army, housewives, youngsters, and children-, the leading role in the building of the inclusive, independent, soveriegn, just, sustainable, and properous society: socialism.
