Abstract

Socialist Republic of Vietnam is one of the few nations of the world that is involved in the process of building Socialism today. A country considered economically underdeveloped and which if facing huge obstacles, but is intended to be a middle income economy in a short term. The Vietnamese way of development is one of a transitory evolution to Socialism, without passing through a Capitalist stage. This way of development is divided in different stages and with different ways of economic and social organization with a transitory character, thus they have to appeal to intermediate forms with the corresponding fighting between the old and the new and the socialist and the no socialist elements. The article is aimed to characterize the process of Socialist construction in Vietnam, as well as to show the particular theoretical and practical elements which have allowed them to advance towards a new stage of development.
