En el artículo se analiza el comportamiento y la tendencia de los ingresos turísticos de Cuba durante los años 2014-2018, comparándolos con tendencias de períodos anteriores y con los principales destinos del Caribe insular. Sobresale el crecimiento de los visitantes que alcanza cifras destacadas. En 2015-2017 casi todos los mercados prosperan, en especial las llegadas de EE.UU., que comienzan a menguar a partir de octubre de 2017 cuando se intensifican las medidas para la prohibición de viajes a Cuba. Se destaca, además, el aumento notable de los vuelos en 2015-2016, el avance del alojamiento turístico, la participación de cadenas hoteleras internacionales, un crecimiento marcado del crucerismo, así como el ascenso de los ingresos asociados al turismo internacional y los ingresos turísticos. Por otra parte, mantienen tendencia decreciente los ingresos por turista y son bajos entre los países del Caribe insular.

In the article it is analyzed the behavior and the tendency of the tourist revenues of Cuba during the years 2014-2018, comparing them with tendencies of previous periods and with the main destinations of the insular Caribbean. The growth of the visitors that reaches outstanding figures stands out. In 2015-2017 almost all the markets prosper, especially the arrivals of USA that begin to decrease starting from October of 2017 when the measures are intensified for the prohibition of trips to Cuba. He/she stands out, also, the remarkable increase of the flights in 2015-2016, the advance of the tourist lodging, the participation of international hotel chains, a marked growth of the crucerismo, as well as the ascent of the revenues associated to the international tourism and the tourist revenues. On the other hand, they maintain falling tendency the revenues for tourist and they are low among the countries of the insular Caribbean.
