The article examines social policies in the light of the Equity and Social Justice axis contained in the Bases for the Development Plan until 2030. Based on national public statistics and research on this topic, it takes stock of the achievements and challenges of social policies, especially education, health, employment, housing, security and social assistance. It shows the achievements in health and education and the challenges faced by these policies as a result of the transformations promoted to maintain the indicators achieved. It reflects on the changes and their immediate effects on employment and housing, where the family and individuals have greater weight in their management. It analyzes the transformations in social security and assistance as well as the current challenges to guarantee coverage to the subjects of these policies. It assesses the current housing policy and the current challenges for its implementation.
