In the article, based on historical logical analysis, some considerations are presented about the process of socialization of the peasant in Cuba, specifying its place today. The work reviews some moments of the process of agrarian socialization in general and analyzes some of the contradictions that the process has entailed. It approaches the different socioeconomic types that have participated in the process of socialization of the peasant, the cooperatives and the free usufructuary of the land. It contains some ideas to take into consideration for the development of a possible national agrarian policy. Finally, it specifies the possible place of the Credit and Services Cooperative, the development of the family, cooperative and communal economy.
