Abstract

GONZALEZ, R; PEREZ RUANO, M  and  BRITO, S. FASCIOLOSIS BOVINA. EVALUACIÓN DE LAS PRINCIPALES PÉRDIDAS PROVOCADAS EN UNA EMPRESA GANADERA. Rev Salud Anim. [online]. 2007, vol.29, n.3, pp.167-175. ISSN 0253-570X.

Se evaluaron las principales pérdidas económicas provocadas por la Fasciolosis bovina durante 4 años en una Empresa Pecuaria, en cuanto a decomisos de hígados, pérdidas en leche, pérdidas en carne y gastos en antiparasitarios. Se concluye que esta parasitosis provocó una afectación en 1 de cada 3 bovinos que se sacrificaron en el matadero con una pérdida por decomiso de hígado de $ 16 121.30 USD; en leche $ 316 078. 38 USD, en carne $ 170 664. 60 USD y 14 686.18 en antiparasitarios; ascendiendo a una pérdida total de 517 550.46 USD. Se recomienda prestar mayor atención a esta parasitosis por la implicación económica que ella representa.
