With the objective of evaluate the efficacy of the Ivermectin for subcutaneous route opposite to the canine humid generalized demodicosis, there were investigated 120 dogs that were presenting this clinical form of the demodecia. It were formed three groups of 40 dogs each one, of different races and between 4 and 12 months of age. Previously, it was proven that they didn’t go positive to dirofilariasis. The control group was treated with amitraz. A second group talked once to subcutaneous Ivermectina for week and the third, it was treated with Ivermectina more support therapy. The therapeutic protocol applied to the group three had an efficacy similar to the agreement with amitraz (control), by what this protocol could be used for the treatment of this entity and the biggest number of convalescent animals it was obtained in the week 12. We recommend expanding the time of evaluation of the therapeutic protocols; so that the possible relapses they can be evaluated.
