Abstract

PAIXAO, Armindo et al. Identification of the genera Haemonchus, Trichostrongylus, Oesophagostomum, Ostertagia and Cooperia in goats in the province of Huambo-Angola. Rev Salud Anim. [online]. 2015, vol.37, n.1, pp.64-68. ISSN 0253-570X.

By the objective to identify gastrointestinal nematodes genera who affect at goals of autochthones races from four region in Huambo province. For also, it were collected feces and it was made copra culture for obtain larvae in third instar, L3 from nematodes. Genera's identify were made by morphology of forelimbs, hind limbs and the intestinal cells. L3, were observed and quantified by percentage of times that were. The results shown that goals were infesting by five genera of gastrointestinal strongyles (Haemonchus sp., Oesophagopstomun sp., Trichostrongylus sp., Ostertagia sp. and Cooperia sp.), with the prominence of Haemonchus sp.
