PAIXAO, Armindo et al. Gastrointestinal strongyles parasitizing goats and sheep from the Wako-Cungo municipality, Angola. Rev Salud Anim. [online]. 2019, vol.41, n.3, e02.  Epub Dec 01, 2019. ISSN 0253-570X.

The samples were transported in thermal boxes with ice and co-cultures were carried out to obtain the L3 larvae, which were identified by their morphological characteristics. Mixed infections were detected in both species of the four locations. L3 larvae of Haemonchus (81 %), Oesophagostomum (10 %), Trichostrongylus (5 %), and Ostertagia (4%) were identified in goats; while Haemonchus (70 %), Ostertagia (11 %), Trichostrongylus (10 %), and Oesophagostomum (9 %) were identified in sheep.
