Resumen

RODRIGUEZ TASSE, Dailín et al. Effectiveness of Mayoral® and Merlín Total® applied with the Cosecho-Aplico® system, combined with the Fertilization in sugarcane. Ctro. Agr. [online]. 2020, vol.47, n.3, pp. 14-22.  Epub 01-Jul-2020. ISSN 0253-5785.

The work was carried out with the objective of evaluating the effectiveness of the combination of different doses of the herbicides Mayoral® (imazapic + imazapir) and Merlín Total® 60 SC (indaziflan + isoxaflutole), applied with Cosecho-Aplico® and two fertilization techniques, on the control of weeds and agricultural yield to manage productivity in sugar cane. The study was established in the Juan José Verdecía Agricultural Grower Farm in the Santiago de Cuba Province, in a Cambisol soil, ratoon crop, cultivar C90-469. The split plot design was used and 100 and 80 % of the dose of the described herbicides were applied. Fertilization was carried out on both sides of the strain with Multiple Cultivator Mixing Fertilizer and in the center of the strain with F-350. The percentage of weed cover was determined and the components of agricultural yield were evaluated. The analysis of the interaction between the factors using the Additive Main Effects and Multiplicative Interaction Models determined that the efficacy of the herbicides depends on the applied dose and the fertilization technology. Better control was obtained by applying Mayoral® LS 35 combined with fertilization to both sides of the strain, while the best effectiveness of Merlín Total® 60 SC is achieved by fertilizing the center of the strain with F-350. Herbicides and doses had no effect on agricultural yield, but it exists a tendency for higher yields when fertilized with the Multiple Grower Mixing Fertilizer regardless of the herbicide used.

Palabras clave : weed control; herbicide; agricultural yield.
