Results of researches performed as from Educational Sociology that use the gender perspective, have proved some sexism manifestations in the educational system. The patriarchal ideology continues to have an effect on students' registration in university carrers, and, thus, the idea has been kept in terms of Exact Sciences and technological studies for boys, and Social Sciences and Humanistic for girls.
