Resumen

ALLENDE GONZALEZ, Dino A.. The Manipulation of Information and Political Actors in Three Middle East Conflicts: Iraq, Libya and Syria. UH [online]. 2020, n.290, pp.59-81.  Epub 01-Nov-2020. ISSN 0253-9276.

Nowadays it is clear that the treatment of information related to major world events is often addressed depending on the interests it generates. The present work will try to offer an approach to the subject related to the manipulation of information and the different political actors involved in three of the most important conflicts that took place in the Middle East during the first lustrums of the 21st century: the invasion and occupation of Iraq from March-April 2003; the aggression developed by NATO and its jihadist allies against Libya during 2011 and the aggressive escalation, that same year, against the government of Bashar Al Assad in Syria that continues in the present.

Palabras clave : information; transnational media; Middle East; foreign policy of United States.
