ABRAMOVA, Marianna y POPOVA, Anna. Reform of Higher Education in Present-Day Russia ‒ Searching New Formats in the Conditions of Generational Change. UH [online]. 2021, n.292 Epub 05-Jun-2021. ISSN 0253-9276.
The article addresses the reform of the education system in the Russian Federation. Among the reasons for it are cited the new socio-economic conditions of the 21st century and the requests of the new generation Z (children born after 2000; in Russia they are "Putin's generation"). It is characterized by short-term memory, clip thinking and the need to visualize the information obtained, which should be taken into account when developing a new pedagogical technique. In addition, the 2012 Federal Law "On education" is analyzed, and it is noted that with the adoption of amendments to the Russian Constitution in 2020, the concept of education of patriotism, citizenship and respect for elders appears, so ensuring state and national sovereignty should be the basis of a new stage of modernization of education in Russia.
