CALABUCHE DIB, Lucia  e  PANELLAS ALVAREZ, Daybel. Social Identity of Young Self-Employed Workers. UH [online]. 2021, n.292, 18.  Epub 05-Jun-2021. ISSN 0253-9276.

In 2010, the reopening of the non-state sector in the country was dictated. Since then, the number of self-employed workers has been increasing and the numbers of young people entering the sector show a sustained increase over time. Therefore, it is necessary to study the effects that the emerging labor scenario may be having on the social subjectivity of the youth group. The object of analysis of the research is social identity, according to the approach of Henry Tajfel and John Turner. The results provide a psychological characterization of a group of young self-employed workers and show that the development of self-employment among young people is seen not only as a present, but also as a future.

Palavras-chave : employee; employer; social groups.
