The main objective of this work is to explain how the economic-legal system that governs exports involving Cuban entities works, thus understand how it influences the national export universe. For this purpose, the Cuban exporting institutions were defined; the exporting strategy in the market and how competitiveness acts around it were explained; the legislation related to the chosen subject was analysed and the legislative impacts on it were evaluated.
