The article presents research results on the relationship between the socio-economic polarization that frames the multidimensional crisis that affects the United States and Latin America today, the foreign policy that from the United States has affected it, both towards the interior of its society and towards the of the Latin American countries, as well as its connection with the recomposition of US hegemony in the region
