The conception of sociocultural training of the student of foreign languages was outlined here. For this, an investigation was carried out under a mixed approach, in which theoretical and empirical methods were used that allowed adding content into the sociocultural training of the students of these courses. As a result, cultural values of the various work contexts that a foreign language professional needs to know and take into account were specified, as well as the training aspirations and specific objectives to be considered in this type of training. It was concluded that the inclusion of these contents will favor the permanent preparation of the students under study and will improve their skills to adapt their professional performance according to the contextual circumstances of work.
