Political behavior is the reaction of individuals, groups, organizations and society; is the way of conducting and acting towards other people, phenomena or processes related to power, where political attitudes, behaviors, culture, participation and socialization intervene in a special interrelation. The article shows the Cuban experience as a contribution, since the socialist transition, to the science of political behavior from the so-called political South, focused on aspects associated with said category and its relationship with the spontaneous opinion of the population in the public space and which, in a novel way, are studied and used in the work of political leadership. This experience sets essential guidelines in the relationship directed leaders, based on the political culture, which shapes the thought, feelings, values, attitude and political behavior, both individually and socially. It demonstrates the importance of the political use of these opinions for the specialized leadership work carried out by the political leader, as an expression of bond and communication whit the masses, in the current complex Cuban scenario.
