For a long time, there has been reflection on the need for continuous improvement in universities as part of the quality certification processes of higher education institutions. On many occasions, mechanisms have been established that allow these improvements to be carried out in the different processes in an isolated manner and with a lack of systematicity. In this work, the mechanisms that the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua, Managua (UNAN-Managua) has been carrying out to respond to the continuous improvement of education are presented in broad strokes, very specifically to the postgraduate training process, this being a key process to guarantee the training of professionals in different fields of action and developing investigative skills in them that favor the resolution of problems in their environment in an integrated and quality manner. Likewise, the integrative perspective with which the postgraduate improvement has been conceived is shown, respecting institutional principles and strategies and national guidelines that demand relevant and quality training.
