The article presents the preliminary results of a research project being carried out at the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at UANL: "Training engineering students through continuing education". Such results show positive criteria and provides recommendations to students and professors, so that continuing education satisfies the training need in the context where learning process takes place.
