The present work attempts to determine the impact of the Faculty of Environment of the National University of Equatorial Guinea in the promotion, education, and development in terms of ecological sustainability in the Bioko Island, as part of the insular territory of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea. To determine the impact of the Faculty's link with the territory of the Bioko Island, several dimensions were considered: promotion of environmental policy; insertion of the environmental approach in the main processes; promotion and development of ecological sustainability, as well as the education in this field, either through research, as well as through actions developed by the Faculty in the community, and, likewise, through the solution of the inventory issues in the Bioko Island, to reach social sustainability.
