This paper presents the results of an investigation aimed at improving the design and implementation of the process of training to people working in the important Cuban company CIMEX which has a comprehensive social mission and engages in imports and exports. One of its major contributions is to propose a methodology for a continuous training in workplaces, with emphasis being put on the integration of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) into the said process and on the promotion of immediate supervisors' roles as trainers in it. Special attention is paid to worker training as essential to the kind of business the company is doing.
