Starting from the systematization of theoretical referents in assessment as a general category, this paper presents a process of assessing didactic, pedagogic, professional competence during the early stages of training given to students doing a degree in pedagogy. This will contribute to the implementation of a systemic, comprehensive and contextualized process of assessment by faculty and tutors, together with other participating agents and agencies.
