Resumen

This paper presents the results of a study carried out from October to November, 2015, about pre-professional practices during the Language and Linguistics Degree Course at the Technical University of Manabi. First, documents in which the sets of rules governing such practices appear were examined, and second, a workshop for students and professors of pre-professional practices from the Education Sciences and Arts Faculty was conducted. This workshop was aimed at stimulating debates between participants for them to identify strengths and weaknesses of pre-professionals practices during the degree course.
