Abstract

NIEVA CHAVES, José Antonio  and  MARTINEZ CHACON, Orietta. A New Perspective in the Formation of Professors in the Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje (National learning center, N.T.) (SENA), Colombia. Rev. Cubana Edu. Superior [online]. 2017, vol.36, n.1, pp.109-119. ISSN 0257-4314.

The present work deals with a new perspective as of the professor´s formation, in which the concept is re-structured and the active subject of learning, as well his/her development, is considered. Such is sustained in the results of the theoretical, exploratory and descriptive study of the Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje, (SENA), Colombia, corresponding to the PhD research "Educational Strategy of professors´ formation of SENAs instructors as from the significant and developing learning." The results of the application of the documentary and survey method to SENA's, Regional Valle, professors are exposed, which made possible the previous studies' assessments, to identify the main limitations in this educational activity in the institutional context, and the characterization of such formation. It was evident the need of an educational strategy, scientifically grounded, towards the significant and developing learning, and guided to the professor's personal and social transformation in his/her role as learner.

Keywords : significant learning; developing learning; human development; educational innovation.
