The paper presented is designed to improve the process for training investigative-labor skills in students from Accounting and Finance Career. In this respect, a didactic conception of the process was supported. A conception that takes into account a sequential and dynamic structure, under which the accounting method might constitute the core for preparation. This allowed to define this process components and stages since the curricular dimension, as well as the principles regulating its performing, so that this process influences positively on the students performance.
