The article is aimed at being a raw material for debating the contribution of the support programs and the university students´ permanence, to the processes of career accreditation. The set indicators for the accreditation in MRCOSUR´s careers are revealed and their correspondence with the activities of the Program of Learning Support (PROGRESA, Programa de Respaldo al Aprendizaje) of the University of the Republic of Uruguay.
