The present article analyzes the access policies to the Agricultural and Forester Engineering career in the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Argentina, in the period 2010-2014. A first year enrollment strategy was studied, as from the perspective of the institutional actors in charge of promoting it. Moreover, the conceptions on the enrollment that subscribe the actors that develop those policies (teachers of enrollment and of first year and tutors) with the purpose of understanding how they mediate and re-meant the implementation of the access policies were analyzed. The results evidenced the perspectives at issue that circulate in university practices and speeches, in relation with the aim of the access policies and which coexist within a similar institutional framework.
