An outline of aspects to be considered about the general theory of systems and the systemic approach, as well as its use in scientific researches is made in this paper. We deal with the way the author or researcher has to be consistent in the written and in the oral speech when he/she declares to have used this method in his/her scientific studies, in a consistent way with the explanation and arguments of the object of research. This is a process or phenomenon of the objective reality that is due to a certain system, where all the essential features and characteristics of its elements, components, subsystems, relations and interactions in their corresponding nature and context are shown. It is essential for the researcher to have the abilities to use these elements and to offer a holistic explanation that makes easier a greater and better formation and transmission of knowledge.
