This work was due to the heavy alcohol consumption among student teachers. It was aimed at creating an activity-based system for temperance education of student teachers at the University of Oriente. Theoretical and empirical methods of research, such as surveys, group interviews, testimonies, expert knowledge, and triangulation were used. The system can contribute to the comprehensive training of student teachers, by making them aware of the problem of alcohol abuse.
