This paper deals with training given to medical students at the Technical University of Manabí, Ecuador. A research into the curriculum for the period 2012-2017 was carried out. A Likert scale was used to scale questionnaire responses given by graduates in the last three years. The need for the curriculum to be redesigned, putting emphasis on systemically teaching bioethics, was shown.
