Cuban higher education is highly committed to graduates’ professional development. It is this subsystem’s responsibility to update specialized knowledge according to professionals’ needs. Contextualizing, researching, and helping this process are challenging nowadays. This is why this paper suggests a didactic method to promote psychopedagogists’ professional development with regard to their social roles in education. This method has structural and functional aspects systemically related. It allowed professionals’ knowledge, skills, and values to be incorporated into social role, by using some theoretical methods of research which made the didactic nature of the method possible. It was based on practicing psychopedagogists’ work experience along with theorists’ views thereon.
