Elective courses concerning the curriculum of a university career contain knowledge that creates an added cost to the academic and professional formation of the students. In the first year of the Hydraulic Engineering career Plan E, the subject Introduction to Hydraulic Engineering is taught, in which students receive the first knowledge on the subject. In order to motivate them in the use of the virtual laboratories that they will carry out in different subjects in the second and third year, in the present work the program of the optional subject Virtual Hydraulics is elaborated, with the necessary didactic treatment and all its methodological elements.
