La investigación muestra un estudio teórico sobre el impacto del aprendizaje experiencial, a partir del ciclo de aprendizaje de David Kolb, cuyos fundamentos se concentran en los aprendizajes previos. La intención es demostrar la necesidad de reflexionar sobre estos temas en el proceso educativo actual e integrar estrategias metodológicas flexibles que identifiquen la complejidad del pensamiento humano, para desarrollar las capacidades desde la experiencia del educando, de acuerdo al nivel de desarrollo y necesidades educativas sin separarlos de su ambiente. La metodología utilizada fue la investigación documental y el método deductivo e inductivo para ratificar las explicaciones de los fenómenos e interacciones que se producen, centrados en el aprendizaje y las experiencias del alumno. Se evidenció que los diferentes estilos de aprendizajes aplicados en la praxis educativa favorecen el fortalecimiento de las destrezas en los educandos y las competencias docentes.

The research shows a theoretical study on the impact of experiential learning, based on David Kolb's learning cycle, the foundations of which are concentrated on previous learning. The intention is to demonstrate the need to reflect on these issues in the current educational process and to integrate flexible methodological strategies that identify the complexity of human thought, in order to develop capacities from the learner's experience, according to the level of development and educational needs without separating them from their environment. The methodology used was documentary research and the deductive and inductive method to ratify the explanations of the phenomena and interactions that occur, focused on the learning and experiences of the student. It became evident that the different learning styles applied in educational practice favour the strengthening of students' skills and teaching competences.
