Resumen

The Calixto García municipality presents constraints on agricultural production related to environmental and socioeconomic factors. During the period 2012-2016 came true five workshops as part of a project, in the ones that the treated subject matters were: 1) Sensitization for the Agrarian Extension from the university; 2) Identification of themes of investigation action; 3) Preparation of multi-actor collaboration; 4) Performance Appraisal and elaboration of project VLIR of continuation; and 5) Integration of actors to municipal level. The principal lessons learned at the workshops constitute the priority to consider the farmers' knowledge and the interchange with them, the use of the methodologies of investigation relevantly action, collaboration multi-actors and social actors' integration for the step of projects and execution of actions in terms of the Local development.
