Emerging information and communication technologies (ICTs) are present in all areas of life, including education. As time goes on, organizations are incorporating technologies into their systems so that individuals adapt. However, it is important to note that incorporating the new ICTs and knowing how to use them is different. This research will discuss the concept of educational innovation, the most common types, implementation, and limitation, to land on the main objective of making known, through a list obtained from a survey of a group of students from the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (FIME), the innovations most used by their teachers in educational practice, positively impacting the graduate profile of engineers.
