This article sets out the results of the implementation of an overcoming strategy consisting of methodological actions aimed at strengthening the indicators that make up the functioning component of the professional motivation of Physical Education teachers. The research was carried out in the municipality Plaza de la Revolucion, in Havana. A total of 22 professionals working in primary schools in the indicated territory participated. DIP-EF technique was applied to obtain the information. It is clear that the consolidation of the methodological preparation of research participants contributes to the improvement of the indicators of professional motivation studied.
