The article presents the fundamentals and conceptual references of the didactic treatment of experimental design in the bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education. To this end, international educational policies of the United Nations and Economic Commision for Latin America and the Caribbean (CEPAL), postulates of the pedagogy of technical and professional education, the theory of activity and the theory of planned and staged formation of mental actions, as well as the conception of experimental design in agriculture are systematized. Finally, a series of definitions of key concepts that make up the existence of the object studied are analyzed to culminate with its definition.
