The objective of this work was to review the behavior of the quality parameters of the Chemical Engineering career, Faculty of Engineering, «Luis Vargas Torres» Technical University of Esmeraldas, in the last five years. For this, the period 2017-2021 was analyzed and the indicators that were taken into account were: student enrollment, graduates, teachers, teacher training, publications, substantive functions and within these: links with society and pre-professional practices. As results, we obtained a growth with a linear trend of student enrollment; increased the ratio of students in the career in relation to the total number of students enrolled in the faculty; the number of teachers was increased until IS-2020; In the publications, a linear tendency to increase was observed in this period; substantive functions also increased per year; In relation to graduate students, we have had an increase in them, although we have delays with the cohorts. In conclusion, it was observed that the quality indicators have improved in these five years.
