The research presented aims to design a didactic strategy supported by ICT for the development of literacy in second-year high school students. A methodology with a mixed and non-experimental approach was applied. The diagnosis was made from the interview with the 2 teachers and 67 second-year high school students who have a population of 80 students. The type of sampling was simple random with a p<0.05 and a confidence level of 95%. The methods used in this investigative work were the historical-logical, analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive and system approach. The main results were directed to the development of verbal logical thinking of the students. The design of the didactic strategy was submitted to the criteria of experts with two rounds of consultations that allowed to improve the actions to be carried out, the relevance and feasibility of its implementation was also assessed.
