Resumen
MARTIN, Yoannis; RODRIGUEZ, Y. E; MOREJON, R y SOTO, F. EFFECT OF THE AGE OF POSITIONS, AND PLANTING DISTANCE IN STOCKING FULL GRAINS per panicle, weight of 1000 grains and agricultural performance in RICE. cultrop [online]. 2010, vol.31, n.4, pp. 00-00. ISSN 0258-5936.
The research study was developed in Los Palacios Rice Research Station, Pinar del Rio, where INCA LP-5 rice variety was planted during 2005, 2006 and 2007, on a Ferruginous Nodular Gley Hydromorphic soil, with the objective of determining the effect of three seedling ages, two plant spacings and two seedlings per site on filled grains per panicle, 1000-grain weight and crop yield. A randomized block design with trifactorial arrangement was used, testing 12 treatments with there replicates each in 2m x 3m plots. Filled grains per panicle, 1000-grain weight and crop yield were evaluated at the end of harvest. Results indicate that these variables influenced rice yield components. In general, when any SICA combination is used, both yield and its components increase compared to the control.
